Contributor Comments
Hi,
Mark Hendricks here.
Here's some comments I've received from
contributors to past years 12 Days of Christmas promotions.
I've asked them to share their comments
to encourage you to go ahead and promote this heavily to your list, and on
your websites and on your blogs (everywhere, but no spam), with the full
faith and confidence that you will also benefit when your gift link goes
live.
The more everyone gives, the more
everyone receives.
Promote early, and promote often.
Now to their comments:
Hi Mark --
Here's what happened with "12-Days of Christmas"
------------------------------------------------
When the link went live, my website "crashed" twice due to the sudden surge
in the number of visitors I got. But, Mark had warned me 'before hand' to
expect such a huge response and in turn, I was able to get my website back
within a few minutes!
I got about 4324 new subscribers within 2 days of the link going live. It
was a real stampede.
I really enjoyed interacting with hundreds of new people who subscribed to
my list and started asking questions about my products and services. This
was very important to me. Now I had thousands of subscribers who were
"interacting" with me, which meant, I not only grew my list enormously but
also had "responsive" people on my list!
Mark's "12-Days of Christmas" promotion became a great "launch pad" that
later turned out to be highly profitable for my business. In fact, by giving
away a valuable gift for 12 days, I was able to sell my other products and
services throughout the year and still going...
And, having seen and experienced the raving success I got from Mark's
"12-Days" promotion, I'd like to recommend (and literally 'force') every
responsible marketer to join this MEGA event without any delay.
Mark, I hope this helps.

I participated in the 2004 12 Days'
campaign - and loved the results! Not only did I add over 1200 subscribers
to my list in a few short weeks, but I gained new clients and some good
friends along the way.
The 12 Days campaign is your chance to give back to your clients - by
unselfishly offering them a lot of quality products. I've looked up many of
these products and know that they are sold at the retail prices, as
advertised. And knowing the value of these gifts, I went one step further to
explain this to my readers. I wrote an article giving them tips on how to
choose and use the gifts that will move them forward in their business.
One of your best strategies is to do as Mark suggests - mail your list and
mail them often. Each time you mention the 12 Days offer you'll add another
percentage to those who are taking advantage of these great offers. So don't
wait to tell them about it - get them signed up as soon as possible! The
sooner they sign up, the more likely they are to take advantage of the
multitude of products they can download and use.
So am I participating in the next 12 Days campaign? You bet! It's an
important part of my annual list-building strategies. And it should be a
part of yours!

"How The 12 Days of Christmas" has
helped me...
Well.. that's real simple. Before deciding at the last minute to give the 12
Days of Christmas a shot -- I joined at the VERY LAST DAY -- Day 12 and as a
result got a TON of subscribers close to 2000 I'd guess and that was for a
very short period of time. I couldn't believe it. Before the 12 Days
promotion, building a list of any size was difficult to say the least and
really costly..
So knowing what I know... it helps to be on the front end of the wave of
traffic which hits the 12 Days of Christmas. Hopefully this year I'll get a
broader
spectrum of new prospects to turn into real clients. By the way, most
of the folks who joined my list from the 12 Days of Christmas have stayed
after a bit of
learning curve on how not to handle a list! :)
I would venture to say that if I had not been a part of the 12 Days of
Christmas last year ... not telling if I'd even be hear at all to talk about
anything... It provided a much needed boost... Got a few JV's with a few
folks because now I had a list -- a real list!
Mark is a straight shooter and a generous person whose generosity has
helped me make a good start with making a business on the web.
Best regards,
Christopher Johnson :-)
Hi Mark,
I can hardly believe it's that time of year again but it is.
Mark "Santa" Hendricks is at it again climbing down the chimney and
delivering presents for everyone especially the participants. If you are
hesitant about joining Mark's 12 Days campaign I tell you to put your fears
aside and listen to this:
In the past 2 years that we have been a part of Mark's campaign we have
added over 360 new users to our GoldbarOne service and that has added well
over $30,000 of pure profit to our bottom line each year (and I haven't even
added up the backend money).
I encourage anyone sitting on the fence to get off and get in the Christmas
spirit and deliver a great gift to Marks 12 days of Christmas campaign. You
won't be sorry.

Mark,
Just a quick note on what happened last year with your 12 Days of Christmas
promo. Here's the exact numbers from my stats - 8,642 referrals from you
resulting 6,128 new leads for us. And, of course, I managed to turn those
thousands of free leads into several thousand dollars in profit.
That's why I'm behind this promotion 100% and have already pre-announced
this to my list and sent almost 4,000 people onto the pre-announcement list.
When everyone does their part, your promotion generate thousands of leads -
and thousands of dollars - for all us.
Thanks for the great job!

"There were many massive giveaway
events in 2005 that came and went, but
only Mark Hendricks' 12 Days Of Christmas gave us more than 1,000
subscribers in a week back in Dec. 2004, and most of them still stick with
us through the year. Considering we were newbies in 2004, it was a
breakthrough we could not get used to! As a result, much more people got to
know us and our business, and thereafter, growing our subscriber base and
increasing our sales is definitely much easier as we build up our online
presence and get the word out.
Dear fellow subscribers, next year it could your profitable turn to be a JV
partner for 12 Days 2006. Just get a good product, lead capture page and
'thank you' page ready and keep a lookout for Mark Hendricks' JV invitation
around mid-November at his site hunteridge.com. Meanwhile, we look forward
that 12 Days 2005 is going to repeat its amazing feat again!"

Hi Mark,
Last year I joined your 12 Days of Christmas promotion as a contributor for
the first time and I was amazed at the impact it had on my business.
I had almost 500 new subscribers the very first day! By the end of the
promotion, I'd gained 3,000 new subscribers and quadrupled my income that
first month. My Alexa ranking went from just over 100,000 to 49,000.
The whole experience boosted my confidence and abilities to run a successful
business. A few months ago I quit my day job because I was making a full
time income online.
I'm very much looking forward to this year's promotion. Thanks for the
opportunity to work with you and all the other contributors.

Mark,
Use this if you wish - my genuine feelings about your promotion:
Last year I missed the 12 days promotion - I have been kicking myself for a
year. Any smart marketer knows that quality, targeted subscribers are a VERY
difficult and expensive breed to capture. 12 Days essentially brings forward
a huge number of targeted prospects interested in online business and
marketing together in one place. To get access to all of them without paying
a cent is unbelievable from a marketer's dream. You could easily have
charged contributors just to participate.
Last year I was lucky enough to get some stunning products from some great
contributors. You know what? I ended up buying products from a few of them
over the course of 2005. 12 days, in my opinion, is one of the best win-win
marketing strategies I have ever encountered. Well done.
Best,
Tuks Engineer
I still remember in Dec of 2004. I
turned on my PC, fired up Microsoft
Outlook and was overjoyed to see the RAMPAGE of subscribers signing up for
my free gift, "Marketing Rampage With Blogs & Rss". This year, I made sure
I signed up earlier. This is the best list building program ever.
Everybody wins. You, me and subscribers. Thanks Mark.

Hi Mark,
I am so GLAD to be able to be part of this year's 12 Days of Christmas
promotion! Last year, I received not only tons of loyal subscribers, many of
them sent
testimonials for my product that skyrocketed my sales throughout the
following year! Sign me up for next year! Merry Christmas!

Mark --
I've been involved in your 12 Days of Christmas promotion the past two years
and I have to say, bar none, it is the most productive online promotion I've
ever been in involved with. And I've been at this game 22 years, so that
says a lot!
We have consistently received literally THOUSANDS of new leads signing up
for our gift and newsletters from each of those two promotions. Having
participated in more than one 12 Days of Christmas promotion, I can say from
first-hand experience that promoting the offer often and ranking higher in
the offer makes a huge difference in the number of leads you receive -- and
that is the point, right?
So -- if you're in this promotion, consider yourself one lucky marketer!
Promote it heavily because, first of all, it's indeed a tremendous offer for
your list and, second, you benefit directly in proportion to your level of
promotion.

Hi Mark,
I just thought I'd let you know how
last year's 12 Days of Christmas worked out for me.
I kept a log on my desk and every day I
would write the numbers on it. I was brand new at this type of promotion --
didn't know how to promote effectively, and still my traffic went up to 4
digits in one day! I was ecstatic! It is so worth it to promote this event
as early as you can in every area you can! I had a lot of questions and you
answered every one quickly.
This year, once again, you have very
good directions, and you were very patient with my questions. I never told
you how much I appreciate it, but now I am. I appreciate it very much! This
year is going to be fantastic!

Tame Your Brain!
I've been a contributor to both of
Mark's previous "12 Days Of Christmas" promotions.
I can honestly say that they boosted my subscriber base more than anything
else I've tried.
What's more, they've been loyal. Of the people who signed up for my
newsletter in 2003 under the "12 Days" promotion, over half are still on my
list. And two thirds of the 2004 promotion sign-ups are still getting my
weekly newsletter.
Last year I joined in some imitations of Mark's promotion, but they were
nothing like as successful as Mark's. That's why this year I've decided to
ignore everyone else, and concentrate on promoting Mark's "12 Days" system.
It really has worked for me!

It's hard to put into words how much my
12 days participation helped my business last year. I was so busy around
that time of year that I was tempted to ignore the invitation. I'm so happy
that I didn't. In just a few days I had a couple thousand new subscribers to
my list. The ones who signed up "stuck", too - a year later those people who
were new last year are still with me, and throughout the year many of them
have become clients.
So this year, even though I haven't had the time to put my contributor page
up when I got my link, I started promoting it that day, Right now I'm
promoting the program even though even thoughy it seems like I won't see any
direct benefit yet. But if you think about it, you really do - more people
on the list is to everyone's benefit.
And yet, it's bigger than that, isn't it? It's bigger than doing what you
might feel is right in hopes that others are going to do the same... it's
the Season of Giving - and it doesn't cost you a Thing to make your
subscribers, friends, neighbors, partners, forum buddies, etc, incredibly
happy! I think it's the best gift you can give another business person
online.
Thanks,
Tinu

Hi Mark,
I was lucky enough to be part of your
first 12 Days of Christmas and I doubled my ezine subscribers from the rest
of the year in just a few weeks. I was so grateful to you Mark for the
personal help you gave me with the technical side of getting everything set
up when I didn't know what I was doing!
The second year I created a more targeted gift for Internet marketers and
received over 1700 questions to make Ask campaign. The majority of the new
subscribers from the past 2 years are still with me and I'm looking forward
to the thousand who will become new subscribers this year.
This is the best promotional tool of the year and I wouldn't dream of
missing it. It's a great illustration of how to grow your business by
giving. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hi Mark,
Last year was my first year involved as a contributor in the 12 Days of
Christmas Promotion. I had a good email list before I started and wasn't
sure how this would work for me. I was very pleased with the program, my
list grew by over 3000 new subscribers and the best part is most have
remained subscribers and loyal customers. The exposure I have received from
Mark's program has had a very big impact on my business.
Thank You,

Don't Make The SAME Mistake I Did!
In 2003, I hadn't heard of Mark Hendricks. Passed up a chance to join his 12
Days of Christmas event.
And spent the greater part of 2004 kicking myself!
Why? Because the buzz was deafening - and a there was a surge of publicity
around the event. I had missed out on all that juicy free advertising!
Next year, I invited myself on board :)
It was worth the extra effort. I got around 1,100 new subscribers from the
event - and many of them stayed on as longer term members, even ordering
some of my products over the last
year.
I haven't kept very close track on the figures, but guess the gift giveaway
has been worth a couple of thousand dollars, if not more, in bottom line
profit over the year.
It's harder to estimate the goodwill the event generates with my existing
subscribers, who receive a huge value from the partners Mark rounds up every
year for this gala.
So, thank you for putting this together, Mark. And for inviting me on board.
It's a really good chance for any marketer with a great product, but wanting
wider reach, to hop on and benefit from the Universal principle of 'giving
to receive'.
All success
